Wizard101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 7)

Hello Wizards!

I apologize for the late blog post about our recent week of Wizard101 Group Questing. I've been busy preparing for Sunday's Halloween Run. I seriously think everyone will have so much fun at this event. I am excited to show everyone what we've planned over the past few months. For now, let's talk about our questing adventures!

The last time we quested, we ended up on the quest "Gladiator Games". This quest required us to compete by defeating various enemies and bosses in the Grand Arena. Before we did anything, we made sure to buy our theme of the week, the Fire Elemental transformation, from the Crowns Shop for 500 Gold. We made it through this area rather quickly! This area also gave a lot of experience points which in return made a lot of us level up - which is always nice. You'd think we would do a great job in this area because fire melts ice, but it's really because we have such an amazing group of friends. :)

The Grand Arena is the last area in the Entrance Hall other than the Emperor's Retreat & Vault of Ice Dungeons. We made quest through each of these dungeons - and to my surprise, I didn't take as many screenshots as I thought I did. I was having a lot of fun defeating the enemies with our group of friends that I forgot. I was thinking we would end here, but you'll be shocked that I was wrong. We weren't done yet because we made our way to the final main area in Krokotopia, the Tomb of Storms! I'll say now that we made our way through each area in the Tomb of Storms completing most of the main quest requirements. We decided to stop questing before the final dungeon of Krokotopia. :D

Quest: "Temple Dweller"
(The Final Dungeon of Krokotopia)

Your Task: Complete ALL Main Quests in Krokotopia Up To Temple Dweller

Optional: Complete ALL Side Quests in Krokotopia for additional experience.

Pirate101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 6)

Ahoy Pirates!

This week has been such a busy week! We didn't stream Pirate101 as long this week since we had a bit of Halloween Run stuff to complete, but that didn't stop us from making a lot of progress. I'll just say it now... we completed the main quests in Skull Island! Keep reading this post to see where we ended up and when we'll be questing again.

We started this week with the quest "Rumble in the Jungle". We had to rescue Criado from being roasted (not that way - the bonfire way). We had to first put out the bonfires and then attack the main boss. Keep note that he will heal himself by sacrificing his minions, so make sure to follow the rules by putting out the bonfires! The group I was in defeated the minions while also putting out the bonfires so the boss wouldn't have a way to heal himself. After we defeated this boss, we later had to defeat more Troggies outside and collect flowers. There's an area - near the entrance of the Dark Jungle - where you can collect the flowers without getting caught. It was no fun getting caught, but I would like to thank Victoria for showing us a great area where the troggies wouldn't pull us in!

The Dark Jungle was a pretty simple area to get through - as there weren't many main quest requirements, but there were quite a few side quests. Feel free to do any side quests that we don't do during our streams during the time we're not streaming Pirate101 Group Questing! Anyway, after the Dark Jungle, we made our way to the Ancient Ruins and eventually to the Plundered Tunnels to fight Armada Soldiers & Captain Optimus Caerulus. After all of this, we traveled back to the Ancient Ruins to fight Gortez! This wasn't as bad as a battle as I thought it would be since we have an amazing group. We actually finished the quest around the same time. After the Gortez defeat, we made our way to Puerto Mico, defeated a few ships for our passage to Monquista and finally made it to Monquista! You wouldn't think we would complete so much in an hour, but we did. So let's talk about what quest we ended up on in Monquista!

Quest: Hear No Evil, See No Evil
(after talking to the King & Queen in Monquista)

Your Task: Complete Main Quest Up To Hear No Evil, See No Evil

Optional: Complete all Side Quests in Skull Island for extra experience

Edward Lifegem Side Quests!

Hello Wizards!

Edward Lifegem is back! Well, I've technically never left, but today I wanted to make a post about my life wizard. I haven't been questing my life wizard for quite some time now and I thought it was about time that I make a post about him. After all, this blog is based around him. Today I thought I'd give you an update on my life wizard and what I've been doing lately!

As I've mentioned above, my life wizard has been behind on quests for a while (meaning at least a year). I don't like leaving my main wizards behind and after seeing how amazing Empyrea Part 2 looks, I've been inspired to start questing all of my wizards again - starting with Edward Lifegem. Mr. Lifegem has been level 112 for a year now and my goal yesterday was to level him up to 113. I wasn't too far from leveling, but to level, I had to complete some of the side quests that I've been behind on. I decided to travel to Khrsaylis to complete a few of the many side quests that I had to complete.

I am over the level I need to be to live in this world, but that wasn't stopping me from worrying! I was mostly worried I wouldn't be strong enough. Life wizards are great healers, but not so much of an attacker. I'm happy that I was wrong about not being strong enough. I was able to heal and attack. Most of the time, my life wizard would end with full health even after a boss fight. This was surprising to me and really inspires me to side quest more. I wasn't much into side questing until we started the new wizard group questing that we do on Tuesdays. It's nice to see that my life wizard is still able to solo these side quest fights on his own.

I was eventually able to level up to 113! I hope to continue side questing to see if I can level up again. If you look in my wizards quest log, you'll see at least 20 different pages of side quests. Keep in mind that I don't always pick up side quests. It's time to put a dent on these side quests. Anyway, I should get going. I have some Halloween Run stuff to work on. Wish me luck! By the way, I will make another side questing update post if I am able to level up another level. I wouldn't be shocked if I do level up again from side quests. Thank you all so much for reading! Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral. :)
