Merry Christmas, everyone! Today's the 25th of December - the final (possibly) day of Christmas songs! I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season & spent plenty of time with your family. I am extremely thankful for my family. I will always remain thankful for as long as I live for each Christmas I get to spend with my family. I love this time of year so much.
Now, let's share one more song that I believe also represents the true meaning of Christmas! Each year I end on a certain song that I believe represents Christmas. Today, I decided to share "Jesus Born On This Day" by Mariah Carey! I hope you enjoy the song! Anyway, Merry Christmas, everyone. Have a wonderful end of Christmas Day. And I hope all of you have a wonderful & safe New Year!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Today's the 24th of December which means it's time for the 24th Christmas song of the month. Today I thought I'd share a song sang by two amazing people - you may have heard the story in the news lately (check out more by clicking on the link provided below)! Anyway, I hope all of you have an amazing Christmas Eve! I hope most of you plan to log off of social media and spend this time with your friends and/or family. Merry Christmas everyone! I'll see you tomorrow for our final Christmas song of the year (possibly - hehe).
Today's the 23rd Day of December which means it's time for the 23rd Christmas song of the month! Happy Christmas Eve Eve, everyone! Here's "The First Noel" by BYU Combined Choirs and Orchestra. :)
Today's the 22nd Day of December which means it's time for the 22nd Christmas song of the month! Can you believe we're only three days away from Christmas?! I've been so busy preparing. I almost missed posting Christmas songs a few times because I was so busy. But, I made sure to remind myself to post a song today (all day). Here's "We Three Kings of Orient Are" by The Robert Shaw Chorale!
Today's the 21st Day of December which means it's time for the 21st Christmas song of the month! We're only a few days away from Christmas. Can you believe how fast this month flew by? I hope all of you are spending time with your family & enjoying the season. Anyway, here's "The Little Drummer Boy" by The Harry Simeone Chorale!
Today is the 20th of December which means it's time for the 20th Christmas song of the month. Before I share the song, I must say that it's crazy to think we're already 20 days into December and only 5 days away from Christmas. I hope all of you are having a wonderful Holiday season. :) Now, let's share the song! Here's "Christmas Time Is Here" by Vince Guaraldi Trio!
It's December 19th which means it's time for the 19th Christmas song of the month of December! Today, I'd like to share a song that I played at the end of last year's Santa Run - one that I've loved for a long time now. Here's "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Kenny G!
Today's the 18th Day of December which means it's time for the 18th Christmas song of the month! We only have ONE MORE WEEK until Christmas! I hope all of you have finished your Christmas shopping (or at least getting close to - you have a bit of time, but it's get the gifts now - this is your reminder). Today, I wanted to share a song that we usually sing at each Santa Run event for the caroling portion of our events. Here's "Hot Chocolate" by Tom Hanks! HOT HOT! HOT HOT! HOT CHOCOLATE!!!
It's the 17th Day of December which means it's time for the 17th song of the month! Today I thought I'd share a song that as a kid, I didn't like at all, but as an adult today, I absolutely love hearing during the Holiday season. Here's "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole!
Merry Christmas! I hope all of you are having an amazing week before Christmas. Over at SpiralVision, we celebrated Christmas by hosting our 5th Annual Santa Run. I have to say that this event may have been my favorite event out of all of the previous events we've hosted. So before I start recapping everything, I want to thank all of you for making it such a great time. This community means so much to me and I truly appreciate any support you show whether you were able to attend or not. Thank you. Now, let's get to recapping!
As you see above, Mr. WhiteTiger93 on YouTube had his own great Santa Run 2019 recap video. I truly do appreciate that he makes these videos for everyone! He does such a great job making these videos, and of course, making many other videos involving the game. So I ask all of you today to give his video a like and subscribe to his channel. We definitely need more family-friendly content creators like him in this community. Thank you WhiteTiger93!
One thing that really uplifted my spirits was all of the new wizards that attend this year's Santa Run. There were points this year where I didn't think family-friendly events were as appreciated as previous years. This event proved me wrong. I am so thankful for that. I hope all of you check out each family-friendly event, not just ours, that takes place in this community. Hosting an event is tough work, especially around the Holidays. There are a few upcoming events in the community such as DuelCircle's 5th Clash Tournament on December 21st & 22nd and Radiance Reborn's event on December 22nd. I hope that y'all are also able to check them out.
This year was certainly something else! But at the end of the day, I'm still so thankful for all of you. What I see in the photo above is a community of people of many different races, religions, orientations, etc. This is what the community has always been to me. It shows that the world can come together. It seems corny, but I love it. It's not just our events. I appreciate it when you celebrate other family-friendly events in the community as well. Anyway, this is more of a thank you post than anything. I just wanted all of you to know how much I appreciate your support.
I'd like to thank our awesome Moderators (WhiteTiger93 & Sarah Skystrider) for hosting fun code giveaways in the Twitch Chat during the entirety of our event and Iridian Willowglen for hosting such an epic afterparty at her Briny Deep Retreat. Also a major thank you to Autumn Dreamwalker for streaming with this weird wizard named Edward Lifegem. And I'd like to thank Kingsisle for supporting this event through codes and helping us promote the event! I truly do appreciate their support, not just for our events, but events throughout the community. Thank you, Kingsisle. And last, but certainly not least, I'd like to thank all of you reading for your support - whether you were able to attend or not. You truly made my Christmas season a lot brighter. Thank you all again for supporting us and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. We'll see you in 2020!
It's been a while since I've made a Wizard101 blog post! The last time I made a post (outside of events) was in early October. Today, I wanted to talk about something that you may have already heard about - Wizard101 Group Questing!
We started group questing in September of 2018. Since then we've leveled up nearly 80 times together. We've quested all the way from Wizard City to Mid-Avalon. On Monday, January 6th, 2020, we'll continue our group questing adventures! I would like to invite all of you to join us as we quest through each Monday next year through the game.
We've made a lot of progress since the first of the year (even with many breaks). But I hope to quest a lot more next year with fewer breaks. If you are interested in joining us on our group questing adventures through Avalon, do save the date & time below! In the meantime, I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas & wonderful Holiday Season! Thanks to everyone that joined us this year. 2020 Vision!
Today's the 16th Day of December which means it's time for the 16th song of the month! By the way, Christmas is approaching so quickly that I can't even believe it. Today should be December 1st! Okay, I wish it was December 1st. But since it isn't, here is the 16th song of the month - "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by John Lennon!
Today's the 15th Day of December which means it's time for the 15th Christmas Song (by the way we're only 10 days away from Christmas - ahhh!). It's been snowing here a lot today, so I thought the appropriate song to share today is "Let It Snow" by Dean Martin! Enjoy! And a major thank you to everyone that attended yesterday's Santa Run. Look for the Recap Post tomorrow (December 16th). :D
Today's the 14th Day of December (and the day of this year's Santa Run - but that's minor details - hehe) and today I thought I'd share a song that Autumn Dreamwalker mentioned a few weeks back on one of our SpiralVision group questing streams! Here's "Run Rudolph Run" by Chuck Berry! And we hope to see you at today's Santa Run! We go live on SpiralVision (twitch.tv/spiralvision) at 12pm Central / 1pm Eastern with fun activities! :D
Welcome to Friday the 13th in December! Today, I thought I'd switch a few things up since today is Friday the 13th. First of all, it is Christmas and today should be a creepy day. I thought today would be a perfect day to play a song from the classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas! Here's "What's This" from The Nightmare Before Christmas! Merry Halloween everyone!
I hope you're having a wonderful December 12th. December is speeding along! Today, I thought I'd share "Twelve Days of Christmas" by Ray Conniff! You gotta admit, it's perfect for December 12th. :D Anyway, I hope all of y'all are having an amazing week. :)
Welcome to the 11th Day of 25 Days of Christmas! Today I wanted to share a song that I thought I already shared - or at least should have shared earlier in the month! Here's "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" by Andy Williams!
Today's the 10th Day of December which means it's time for the 10th Christmas song of the month! FYI, we only have two more weeks until Christmas Eve. :D Anyway, here's "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses!
Today's the 9th Day of December, which means it's time for the ninth song of the month! Today, I thought I'd share one of my favorite songs from this decade (2010 to be specific) - "Shake Up Christmas" by Train!
Today's the 8th Day of December and today I wanted to share "Do You Hear What I Hear" by Bing Crosby. Why? Well, today I'm going to a live Nativity Scene - where they have live animals and tell the story of Christmas. It's going to be so much fun. Anyway, I have to get going now. Enjoy! :D
Today's the 7th Day of December! I've been looking forward to this day for a while because my town has a Christmas Festival - where they have a Christmas parade, a somewhat tree lighting, AND many other fun festivities. Tomorrow, my town will have a live Nativity Scene which thousands out of my small town support. So this weekend is going to be a very Christmassy weekend. :D This brings me to today's song... "We Need A Little Christmas" by Johnny Mathis! I heard it on the radio today and at that moment, I knew I'd share it here with y'all. Enjoy! :D
Today is the 6th Day of December which means it's time for the 6th Christmas song of the month. Gosh! December always seems to fly by when you don't want it to. I'm a little late sharing today's song, but I thought I'd share a song from recent times. Rest assured, I still have plenty of songs from before the 2000s to share with y'all. Anyway! Here's "Christmas Without You" by OneRepublic.
It's already the 5th of December! I feel like this month is truly flying by. But that means it's time for me to publish my 5th Christmas song of the month. Here is "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid (1984).
I know a few of you probably thought I wasn't going to post a Christmas song since I usually share my favorite Christmas songs in the morning. I'm going to make sure I don't miss a day this month. :D Anyway, today, I wanted to share one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs with you. Here's "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney.
It's the 3rd Day of December which means it's time that I post the 3rd Christmas song of the month! Last night, we streamed Wizard101 Group Questing. I've recently changed our playlist to all Christmas songs. One of the songs I added to this playlist is a song from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York called "All Alone On Christmas" by Darlene Love. After it played last night during our last night, I knew I wanted to share this song with you all today. So, here you go! :D
Today is the 2nd Day of December which means a 2nd Christmas song. One song that I always remember looking forward to listening to as a kid on the radio was "Last Christmas" by Wham! This song has always been a favorite of mine and I will always share it here on my blog. I believe I've shared it nearly every single year. So that tradition continues this year! :D
It's here! It's here! It's HERE! The Christmas season is finally here! Can you believe that it's already December 1st?! I feel like this year flew by. I don't know if the exclamation points gave it away, but I love this time of year. I especially love this time of year because I can play as many of my favorite Christmas songs that I truly enjoy listening to. Speaking of that...
If you're new to my blog, I have had a tradition of sharing 25 of my favorite Christmas songs here on my blog. This is the 8th consecutive year! I started this tradition back in 2011. It's so crazy to think that I've shared so many Christmas songs - some of them being repeats - but it's tradition, so that's okay. :D Today, I wanted to share a special song that recently turned 25 years old - "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah Carey - as the first song of 25 days of Christmas! I hope you check back each day for my all-time favorites. Okay, let's share it! Merry Christmas!
