Wizard101: Witch Hunter's Bundle (Gamestop)

It has felt like Summer here lately and I've been outside a lot lately and of course playing Wizard101 on my free time. :) You might want to play a lot more now because Wizard101 has finally added a Car Mount to a bundle. You can have this +50% speed boost car mount (and many other Darkmoor related goodies) by buying the Witch Hunter's Bundle at Gamestop for $39! The Darkmoor house looks pretty cool, I can't wait to view that in the game. :D The gear also looks awesome. Okay.. everything about this bundle is awesome! New Wizard101 Event: June 11th, 2016!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a great week! I was supposed to make this post a few days ago but didn't have a chance to make this post. I've decided to have another Wizard101 event on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. CST just as a celebration for this blog's 6th Birthday, the 4th of July and Summer altogether. I'll have other events this Summer, but I thought I'd combine the three events into one main event. If you would like more information about this event, continue reading below!

Activities at the Event:

Wear Your Flag Colors: I thought it would be a lot of fun to not only celebrate the 4th of July but to also celebrate all other countries by dying our gear the color of the flags where we live. As you can see above, my gear is already the color of the American Flag since that's where I'm from. Show off your country by wearing your country's colors. If you don't have enough gold, you can also wear what you already have.

Transformation Party (Before 2:00 P.M. CST): Before the event even starts, we'll have a party with our favorite transformations from the crowns shop. Transformations can be bought from the W101 Crowns Shop for 75 Crowns or 500 gold (under the Appearance and Gear Tab). I hope to see you there! :D

Wizard Run in Ravenwood (Around 2:30 P.M. CST): I thought it would be a lot of fun to run around Ravenwood/Bartleby a few times! This activity will start at 2:00 P.M. CST once the main event starts. Before we teleport to my house, I'm going to ask everyone to take off their mounts if they use them because we don't want any lag if there are too many wizards.

Sultan's Place (2:45 or 3:00 P.M. CST): I'll teleport everyone to the Sultan's Palace from the wizard I would like you to add. We'll then have fun playing minigames, fun PvP, visiting and exploring my Sultan's Palace. :)

I'm having this event to get the community together again. I think this will be a great way for all of you to make new friends or even visit with friends that you haven't had a chance to talk to. IF there are any changes to this event (such as contests, additional activities or time change), I will let you all know about them on my Facebook Page , Twitter Account and eventually on this blog post. I hope to see all of you there. Let's make this a fun and family-friendly event! :D

Valencia Part 2: Likes (Spoilers)

Ahoy Pirates!

I've decided to make a few posts over this weekend about what I think about Valencia Part 2 so far. I can tell you that there IS a challenge so far. It looks like it's time to start farming for the gear from Moo Manchu because this world is very challenging. I promised myself I wouldn't make this post about dislikes, so I'm going to talk about a few things that I like about Valencia 2 so far! I only made it to level 66 1/2 so keep in mind that I don't know everything and I'm only going off a little section of Valencia 2.

#1: The Storyline: I've always loved the Pirate101 storyline! This is a continuation after Aquila. We're sent to the Capitol of Valencia 2 to find Captain Gunn since he has Catbeard's piece of the Map to El Dorado. I'm not going to say too much on this post because I want it to be a surprise for everyone. I'll just say that this storyline really involves our companions when talking and a lot of times it's very funny! I like how Kingsisle makes our companions feel alive and not just running around with us like robots (not the Armada - though it would be cool to have an Armada companion, no we're not getting one in VL2). I really do like everything so far, so I can't wait to quest through the live realm to see what else happens.The storyline is sure to make you laugh at points if you do read and listen to the dialog like I do. :D 

#2: Our New Companion, Contessa: If you didn't know by now, we do get a new companion in the game. Kingsisle actually gave us a sneak peek Vine a few weeks ago that shows her main attack on an enemy. She is an awesome companion and I can tell I will be using her as one of my main in VL2 when it's released to the live realm. As I've mentioned above, Kingsisle gave life to the companions and Contessa was one of the new companions that they made seem very funny and awesome. I will be using Contessa as one of my main companions because of her strong hits on enemies! :D

#3: Some Of The Challenge/ Not All: Some parts of the challenge of this world is the way it should be since it is the world after Aquila. Now, other challenging parts.. you'll have to read my Dislikes post on that. I think this world should be a little challenging, especially for those who can quest through very fast and say they're bored a few days later. I can tell this will take me awhile to get through and this was what I was expecting, at least some of the sections of VL2. 

#4: The Gold: I've noticed that we receive a lot of gold after fighting mobs and especially bosses in VL2. I actually received one treasure chest that had over 9k gold! I'll have to go back and find out what boss that was because I have a feeling that'll be my new boss to farm gold from if there's not another boss in VL2 that has more gold. I really can't believe the amount of gold this world gives, and I think it's awesome if you ask me. If you're worried about running out of gold, this update is the place to go... so far! I hope they keep this in the live realm. It'll be a lot easier to buy one of the ships.. 

#5: The Pirate Ships: I LOVE that the ships are from other worlds and are level 70. I don't know if this is temporary since this world was released earlier than it was expected to (at least it seems that way to me), but I still love this idea. I'm actually a fan of the Marleybone ships and I was upset when I couldn't use mine anymore when I had to quest through Aquila. There are actually ships from what seems each world that everyone can use and they're all level 70 ships! There is also equipment for these ships which you'll have to check out.

#6: Valencia Part 2: I love VL2 and I can tell Kingsisle put a lot of work to make it seem different than the first Valencia. I'm very thankful we have a great team to put this world out. I love a lot of how VL2 looks including the amazing Sunset (or Sunrise?), the buildings, NPCs, etc.. Thank you Kingsisle! I can't wait to see how everything else looks when I'm able to quest through the entire world on the live realm. I always save the rest as a surprise. :) 

These are really the main six things that I love about this new update! I really didn't tell you everything which was my goal, only things that I liked about this new update. Pirate101 Test Realm ONLINE: Valencia Part 2

It's Friday and the Pirate101 Test Realm is ONLINE. We will now be able to log into the test realm (if you have bought at least $6 worth of crowns or have a Pirate101 Membership in the last 30 days) to test out new content update Valencia Part 2. This new update will raise the level cap from level 65 to 70 and have many other features. I'll be testing it out this week and making a few posts about it! I hope you stick around for that. NEVER Share Your Account Information (2016)

Hi there,

You should never share your user account information (including user & passwords) with anyone. I've been playing the games for awhile now and I can't even tell you the amount of people who have lost their Wizard101 & Pirate101 accounts because they shared their account information with somebody that they shouldn't have. Trust me, I want all of you to keep your accounts! This starts with not sharing your personal information with anyone in any shape or form. Here are a few steps you should take to KEEP your account safe.


1) Don't Trust All Websites. There are many websites out there trying to steal your information because you choose to share your user and password information with them. Kingsisle has made sure that you know that you shouldn't even share your password with them. This means you shouldn't share your password with anyone else. Keep your account safe. Untrustworthy websites can steal your information just like that. Your account will be stolen and/or banned if you do share your information.

- Below are the links to the Offical Wizard101 & Pirate101 websites. Any other website asking for important account information are not of Kingsisle and should be reported right away!

2) Use Official Launchers. Yes, there are official Wizard101 & Pirate101 launchers. USE the launchers that Kingsisle has provided to you. You are at risk for having your account stolen. I'm not just making this post for no reason at all. I've been making online safety posts since I first started blogging in 2010. Please trust me, I want you to keep your account. Your information will enter a separate database outside of Kingsisle's and your information will be stored there.

- REPORT: You should report anybody that are using something above like this. This should not be allowed and I've heard of many people having their information stolen by websites and users such as these. If I see it, I'm also going to report to Kingsisle. I'm not afraid of websites like these because each one has been taken down since being noticed by the community and Kingsisle. We can make a difference and make sure nobody loses their accounts by reporting them to Kingsisle right away.

Betrayed By Monkey King! :O

Ahoy Pirates!

It's Wednesday! That means that... It's Wednesday. Okay, not that much fun. Okay, I won't lie it certainly is a great day for me because I'm finally off of school for Summer Break! I've had a lot of times to make blog posts, but I've been looking for the Pirate101 Test Realm. Valencia Part 2 will be released soon (even though I'll pretend Edward Cringle knows nothing about Valencia Part 2). I can't wait! The test realm should be released this week or sometime next week. I hope to see you there testing the new update out with me. :D

Other than the Test Realm, I've been looking forward to completing Mooshu. On my last blog post, I had to fight Stormzilla and six Tengu Goblin Sorcerers to retrieve the Jade Egg that the Dragon King wanted in return  for one wish or the return of Monkey King's staff. I retrieved the egg and returned to the Lake Floor to give the Dragon King the egg. I had to be careful because the Koi Guardians were still guarding the king. I swam around and was lucky not to be pulled in. I'm always one to get caught in a battle, especially on Pirate101. I was lucky not to be caught as much on Wizard101, but once I joined Pirate101, I've had to fight hundreds of enemies that I didn't need to fight (okay maybe not that many :P). Anyways... The Dragon King kept his word and returned the Monkey King's staff to me so I could return it to the Monkey King so he could destroy the lock that was keeping him locked in a cage. By the way!! I leveled to level 47 after completing that quest. One step closer to 50!

I sailed back to the Monkey King's Cave and gave Monkey King his staff and to my not being surprised, he betrayed me and ended up summoning other monkeys to fight me. I didn't have as many issues this time around defeating the four or five monkey king lookalikes mostly due to having the right companions. I always level my companions close to my level and of course promote them if needed. I always say that, but I'll say it again just in case there is somebody new reading. Just a little bit of advice! Also.. just a warning to all of you pirates out there... Monkey King is going to betray or already has. :P After I defeated the Monkey King, Shunzang The Wize told me in a letter that he knew the Monkey King would betray me and wanted me to return to the Eternal Serenity to talk to him about it. It looks like it'll take a little while to sail there so I am going to end this post right now. Thank you all for reading. Castle Darkmoor - Lower Level: Likes/Dislikes

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a great week! I've been behind on blog posts lately because I've been looking for the Pirate101 Test Realm. I know that has nothing to do with Wizard101, but I'm telling you now so you know why I haven't made any Wizard101 blog posts in nearly a week. Last week I had a chance to quest through the first dungeon of Darkmoor for the very first time. Yeah I know I'm behind on a lot but I'm glad I'm finally catching up!

I quested through the first dungeon with Ronan Dragondust (his life wizard). He was very nice and asked if I needed help questing through a few Darkmoor dungeon instances.  I have a lot of comments about this first dungeon, especially about the second boss. I'm not going to name every boss in this dungeon, mostly because I don't want this post to be a guide. I want it to be more like a Darkmoor likes/dislikes blog post.

Likes:

- The very first boss, Howling Chaney, was pretty easy to defeat if you have a plan. I actually defeated the first boss for the first time a few months ago. You always have to have a plan when going into a boss battle and if you have that plan, this first fight will be pretty easy for you.

- This first dungeon was a fun dungeon for loot. I actually won level 100 balance boots from the first boss. I mean who doesn't like winning loot after a long battle? 

- After the dungeon, there's an area where you can teleport back for the second dungeon. I really thought you had to quest through the entire dungeon to complete it. Could you imagine doing that with all of the cheats?!

- I LOVE that there's a Skeleton Key Treasure chest! I was lucky to access this thanks to Ronan.

- The observatory puzzle was really the easiest part of this dungeon, thanks to Duelist101! :P

Dislikes:

- I don't like how there are many cheats, especially with this second boss, Sir Blackwater. As someone who went through the Malistaire dungeon back when the level cap was 50, I never thought the Malistaire dungeon was so tough that younger players couldn't get through. After seeing this dungeon, I can tell that the cheats from this second boss would be hard to remember. We could barely remember the cheats that there were so many. Thankfully we were able to find guides on Central and Duelist101, otherwise, there was no way I would have made it through this dungeon alone the first time around. I've always been somebody who likes to solo Wizard101 every now and then. There's no way I could solo this dungeon without the already best gear. I really have a lot of comments about this dungeon, but most of you already know about it which is why I'm not going to mention any names or anything. I hope Kingsisle fixes this main dislike that I have about the very first dungeon. PLEASE change this. Players should be able to have fun in a dungeon. I know it shouldn't be easy, but fighting a certain cheating boss for an hour or two, fleeing and recalling, is not fun at all. This is really the main issue I had with this first dungeon.

#Pirate101Lives: 3 Things Kingsisle Should Do To Keep Pirate101 Alive!

Ahoy Pirates!

Today I was talking with Jack Nightingale on Pirate101 about the future of Pirate101 (Valencia Part 2 and other worlds we hope Kingsisle will release in the future). I already told everyone that I believe Pirate101 will live on as long as we continue supporting the game every way we can. I also think there are a few things that Kingsisle can do to keep the game living on successfully. I decided to make a little advice post to Kingsisle letting them know what I think they should do to keep the game going so we can see Polaris, Grizzleheim, Krokotopia, El Dorado and many other worlds.

#1: Make A New Commercial

We haven't had a new Pirate101 commercial since June of 2013. I think we're due for another commercial! You had no problem getting new players to join, and many of the new players might have finished the game. It's time to release a new commercial letting those who might have left know that we're getting a new update. We have to have a new great Commercial for the game. This one major step to take to get players to return or join the game. I hope we are able to see another commercial soon, especially like the commercial below.

#2: Release A Bundle

I really don't remember the last time Pirate101 had a bundle. I think with a content release, a bundle would be perfect! If people find Valencia Part 2 amazing, which I hope they will, they will want to buy a card. Why not a Valencian themed bundle? A Valencia themed bundle would be an amazing addition to the game. I don't know how much it costs, but I know that bundles make money especially if they're awesome. Please release a new bundle shortly before or after the new Pirate101 release. New bundles before different worlds would be awesome too. I'm not going to talk about too much what happened, but I think once things are back on track, this would be perfect! It would keep players very interested. 

#3: Focus On Players Who Have Been Here Awhile

I think it's now time to focus on players who are around levels 50-65 (and higher once cap is increased). Many things have already been released for new players which really helps new players that might join from a new Commercial. I think it's time to focus attention on older players so you're able to keep those who will spend more time on the game. Always keep players who have been here for awhile in mind. It's also important to keep new potential players close, but the players who have actually decided to buy memberships and quest through are also important for the game to continue. Please, keep those players in mind as well, so nobody gets bored from questing through lower level stuff. The Nautical Gauntlet last year was an amazing idea! That's one way to get players back on the game. It gives players who are at the current cap something to do until you're able to release a new world. If you're able to release more gauntlets or dungeons that give special gear, pets and ship equipment, you should do that. That's all I really have to say on this post. Edward Wintergem Solos a Khrysalis Dungeon

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having an amazing Friday (not going to mention the date, but it is always your choice to look). I actually had a great day because I was able to quest in the game again. :D Now before I talk anymore about it, I want everyone to know that I'm still supporting Kingsisle no matter what. I love the games, game team and the community. Please accept that we all have different opinions and my opinion of Kingsisle shouldn't put me in a spot where I always have to defend myself. Accept and move forward with your life just like I am by playing the game. We all have to move forward with life now, and accept what happened. Don't blame somebody if they support Kingsisle. We all have our reasons to support them or not. I will support them and readers here also do, and that's awesome! If you're up for it, now we should show Kingsisle all of the support we can through this time. Especially Tom, our community manager, since he has more work now than he did previously. Thank you for all your hard work! Hopefully, things get back on track from here on out. Speaking of getting back on track...

Today I actually soloed a dungeon with my ice wizard for the first time in years! Well.. I guess I shouldn't say years, but a dungeon like this is something I'd never try alone. I didn't have anything else to do this morning so I decided to try! I had to solo through "The Black Hole" dungeon in The Hive, Khrysalis. I remember questing through with Autumn last year and it wasn't difficult but I remember having to go through the same dungeon two times! I was worried the same thing would happen today since it happened last year. Well.. I'll let you know at the end of the post if it did. :P The first fight was life minions, and they were pretty easy to defeat! I couldn't believe Kan Po was on their side. I mean, he's always by my side when I'm questing with my Witchdoctor. Could I stop talking about Pirate101 on this post? Uh. Okay. I will stop. Anyways..... :P The second fight also had minions, death minions, and both fights were pretty easy especially this second fight. You know ice boosts when fighting a death enemy, so my snow angel above was pretty powerful. I wasn't that worried about these two beginning fights since my ice wizard has plenty of resistance, damage and most of all, Health.

The Final fight in this dungeon had a Myth Boss with 24,000 Health. MYTH. I love the myth school and think it's powerful, but not when it's being used against me. I had plenty of Stun blocks ready for this fight (btw, special hank you and shoutout to Duelist101 for the guide). I was worried most of the time that this boss would use Earthquake, but I was pretty lucky, because he didn't. I was doing great until the middle of the fight when I realized that I didn't include many shields in my deck. I had plenty of heals, but I always include shields during boss fights. I actually made it down to 1800 health (my ice wizard has a max of  6200 health). I was thinking I'd have to end this fight, but I kept trying. After a few heals, I was able to hit the boss with a powerful Mammoth and Frost Giant (since I was 500 health off from defeating him). Shortly after I found Old Cob! I'm not going to explain the entire storyline since many of you already know. I'm just glad that my wizard made it through this dungeon without repeating it. Woooot! Now.. It's time to try to make it to Polaris soon. I really want to make it through that world on this wizard before other worlds are released. It seems we'll have another world later this Summer or Fall. Stupendor-X VS Stormzilla (Edward Cringle)

Ahoy Pirates!

I hope you're having an amazing Friday. It's finally Summer Break for me! That means I'm able to quest and blog a lot more. :D I can't tell you how much I missed making new posts. Now, before I begin to make this post I'm going to let you know that I still support KI and both of their games. That is my choice and you don't have to agree with it, but you should accept that everyone has different opinions. The last few days have been crazy, but I think things will get back on track soon. Hopefully, the support shown will help keep the game alive. Valencia Part 2 will be released next week (so test that out if you can). Now to get back to the main point of this post.. Edward Cringle!

Today I had a chance to log onto the game and complete a quest that I've been wanting to work on since Spring Break. I was able to fight Stormzilla! On my last post, I found out from the Dragon King that I had to obtain the Jade Egg for him in order to get a wish/Monkey King's Staff back from him. Now.. I'm a fan of Iron Man, really robots in general, and I can't tell you how much it is to be a robot on this game! Well.. I think he's a robot. I had to use Stupendor-X, a vessel of the Titans, to get rid of the threat Stormzilla. Stormzilla was actually destroying the temple where the Jade Egg was located and I had to get rid of him before I could make my way to the Jade Egg. 

The Stormzilla battle was, simple. You had to defeat Stormzilla. Every now and then he would summon eggs (view the second image above) and eventually those eggs would hatch into Stormzillas that were not as strong but enough damage will bring your health down. The Boss Stormzilla had just about 2,900 health. The attack card options were not enough to defeat him, so I had to hit him with simple attacks which eventually defeated him. My advice to you would be to save area attacks because the summoned Stormzillas will start attacking you by gathering around you. Make sure they are gathered around the boss so you can hit them and the boss at the same time. Keep all of your focus on defeating the main boss! After I defeated the Stormzilla boss, I had to defeat six of the Tengu goblin sorcerers.

These fights were not that difficult, as you should always be prepared. I always choose my best companions that can get me through a fight. Always make sure they are close to your level. It helps out because the higher level they are, the better chance they'll have more health and hit more damage on an enemy. Shortly after I took my screenshots above for this blog post.. I mean... After I defeated the Tengu Sorcerers, I found the Jade Egg! It took a lot of work, but all hard work eventually pays off, right? :D Finding this jade egg means that I have to end this post before it is too much to read. No Bullying on this Website

I wanted to make this post letting everyone know that this website is a Kingsisle related website. If you don't like Kingsisle by not supporting them, do not view a Wizard101/Pirate101 website. This summer I will play the games and frankly, comments will not be approved if they are bullying me and/or have bad language. I'm not afraid of you and will report you if you continue doing what you're doing this Summer, I will report you. This is a reminder to stay away from my blog, Twitters, and other Social Media. If I have to warn you again, you'll be reported. I don't mind criticism and have published comments in the past, but I will NOT allow bullying on this website. This is a family-friendly website and you might have it on your Twitter and real life but it will not be published here. This was just a reminder. I feel bad that I can't even include a comment system where everyone can comment without it having to be approved. I was actually planning on changing that this Summer since I didn't have any evil comments on my blog, ever, but you ruined that. Now. That's it. Stay away from me. Important Kingsisle Information

You may have heard the news around Twitter, Facebook or other social media that Kingsisle had to reduce their amount of employees at their company. I got an email from Kingsisle and decided to release it here on my blog too. I will miss all of you! Thank you all for your hard work at Kingsisle. You have no idea how much it means to us. I also want to thank all employees still at Kingsisle for their hard work. We will get through this. Here is more information from Kingsisle:

“To verify, many talented employees were released as part of a reduction in force today at KingsIsle Entertainment, and we wish them the best. This coincides with a couple of unreleased mobile games being cancelled. The strategy is to refocus our efforts on our MMO games and polish our more promising mobile projects, many of which are still slated for a 2016 release. Fans of our MMOs should know that Pirate101 is soon to receive an update and will be going to Test Realm most likely next week. Wizard101 has new content updates in the works for both Summer and Fall 2016. “


Our community manager, Tom, is still at Kingsisle to answer any question. Leala and #JuliaFromKI was let go. It is sad, but this might be good for the future of the game. My prayers are out for all of those out there who were let go to find another job soon! I know they will because they are very talented just like all of the Kingsisle employees. Dear, Kingsisle!

I'm a fan of Wizard101 and Pirate101. I have been for nearly seven years. I actually joined the game on July 4th, 2009. Why? It was actually storming and I didn't think I'd make it out to the park to view the annual firework show that my town has. I decided to sit in my room most of the day because I was sad that I might not be able to attend the firework show. That was until I found a special commercial about one of the best games out there called Wizard101!

I remember seeing Malistaire (the lightning is pretty awesome, I won't lie). I couldn't believe how amazing the graphics were and how much the game related to me. I decided to create an Ice Wizard because I LOVE Winter. At the time, I had severe anxiety and depression, and I decided to play this to see if somehow it got my mind off all of that. This game helped me get through so much and thanks to your work I was able to overcome many of my fears.

Three years later, Pirate101 was released! I was looking forward to this game since I found out about it about a year into playing Wizard101. This game has many amazing features, like Wizard101. I created a buccaneer during my play in Beta, but after that, a Witchdoctor once it was released to the public! This game is just as an amazing game as Wizard101 to me. Every detail all of you put into both games is very important and I know you care about what the community thinks. I really didn't know what a game team was like before playing Wizard101, but I'm very thankful each and every one of you. I know keeping games alive is very important. I wanted to spend this time to thank you, all of you (you know who you are) for all of the work that you have done for this game. I'm sure it was a lot of hard work but you have always listened to the players and that really means a lot to a lot of us. I wanted to make this post as a thank you for all of your hard work. I wanted to let you know that it is a video game, but it is a lot more to many people around the world and we are very thankful for all of the hard work you are and have put into these amazing games. I'm Back with Summer Plans!

Hi there,

I wanted to make this post to let all of you know that I'm back and blogging again! I had a tough semester but I still made it through. That's a reminder that you should never give up on something, no matter how tough it is. I'm glad I stuck through and kept trying. Now... I'm ready to start blogging again about my Wizard101 and Pirate101 adventures. I have many special things planned this Summer!

I actually thought of a series of Wizard101 posts that I was planning on making. I'm not going to tell you what the series is about just yet, but I think most of you will like it. Keep in mind that I'm not trying to copy anybody by making this series of posts. I think a few players that have been here for awhile will like what I have planned! :D I'm also planning on playing more of the game questing through Polaris with Autumn on my Fire Wizard, Edward Firegem. I am also planning on questing my other wizards this Summer too. By the way, I'm also going to have events. I have to think of a nice one soon (a way to celebrate this website's 6th Birthday which was yesterday).

For Pirate101, I am planning on having NXP Events on the game, especially when Valencia Part 2 is released! I'm so excited about this update! I can tell many pirates around the community are just as excited for it. I will continue making Edward Cringle posts and of course making posts about Valencia Part 2. I MIGHT try PvP out for the very first time, after hatching new pets for my pirates and farming Moo Manchu for the first time. I've been behind in the game, but I will catch up this Summer. And... Valencia Part 2! I can't wait! I wonder if it'll be released in the Test Realm tomorrow... or next Monday? We shall see. Seriously, keep an eye on Pirate101's social media for that. It looks like we'll get that new update soon. :D

One last thing I would like to say is THANK YOU! I didn't get to say it enough yesterday to everyone who wished my website a Happy 6th Birthday on Facebook, Twitter and on the comments. I'm glad you like reading my blog. It really does mean a lot that many of you still read websites even though there are other ways to get information from the games. I still think old-fashioned blogging is the best way to go every now and then (plus you should always take time out to read). Okay.. That's it for today. I was up for 15 hours studying and completing finals so I think it's time to rest. I will be back tomorrow! Get ready for a lot of posts. This Summer will be an awesome Summer! :D

It's a special day! It's Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem's 6th Birthday! I created this website six years ago on May 10th, 2010. I still can't believe it's been that long ago. I still feel like I just joined the community and started making posts about Wizard101 (and two years later about Pirate101).

Many of you know that I created my website with Mary Dreamshade, from The Pie Loving Necromancer. A few wizards that been in the community for awhile might know who I'm talking about. Mary's website is not longer active, but I'll never forget when we created our websites together! The Friendly Necromancer (now our W101 & P101 community manager with Leala) was the reason I was inspired to create a website with memories. Tom was only blogging for about two years when I found his website, but I loved reading his posts. Speaking of Tom and Leala, I want to thank them for giving me a chance as a Pirate101 Fansite owner. I'm not bragging at all, but I'll always be thankful even if I wasn't anymore. My goal has been and always will be to bring this community together and I will continue doing that. Anyways, a year after I found Tom's website, I was actually truly introduced to the community about a year later during a few parties: Ravenwood Radio aftershow afterparties, Fallon Moongem's Birthday party, and of course the 1st Annual Diary of a Wizard Ravenwood Ball. I wish I knew how to take screenshots at the times so I could share it with you, but I had no idea. I love sharing the memories on this website so I can remember and you can see what it was like in the olden days (otherwise known as 2009 and 2010 LOL).

I always do a little history lesson about this website on my website's Birthday. So I'll answer a question that one of you might have asked yourself. Why is my website named Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem? "Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem" is a name that I later thought of after questing a lot on my life wizard when I first created him just over five years ago. Before Edward Lifegem, my blog was named Wizard101 and The Life of an Ice Wizard. I'm glad I decided to change the names, but everyone starts off somewhere right? :) I still feel new and I'm learning something every day on this website. I can always go back and read through the best times, or rough times. This blog has a lot of memories, well over one thousand memories. These memories are very special to me and I'm glad I can share them with all of you. I'm very thankful for each and every one of you and I want to thank you all for all of your support over the last six years, last month, day or even if you just found my website today. I'm not quitting anytime soon, I just wasn't able to make a special post last year. Here's to another special year! Thank you all for dealing with my sometimes weird posts. Now... it looks like it's time to make another hit 1 million views, make many new friends at events this next year, and of course continue making new memories on this website. This website is not just mine, it's also yours! :) Thank you again. HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY!!!

Kingsisle recently emailed me with an exclusive Pirate101 Valencia Part 2 Teaser! Each fansite will share one unique image of the new world that will be released on Pirate101, so make sure to check those out too. :D Maybe my image is an image of a dungeon? Or a place that contains all of the secrets of the Skyways.. Who knows. I guess we'll have to test that on the Test Realm that will be released soon! I'm Ready For Summer & Wizard101!

I hope all of you having a great day. I know I am because I'm thinking about how many fun times I've had on this website. I can't believe that nearly six years ago, I created this website with Mary Dreamshade! I guess I'm shocked because it feels like it was just yesterday that I created it (it wasn't called Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem - more like Wizard101). It turned into "The Life of an Ice Wizard" and eventually what it is today. :D I've had many moments on this website! I'm glad I can still stop here every now and then and make blog posts about the game and a few times online safety posts to keep you safe online! I wanted to make this short little post thanking all of you for your support over the past 6 years! Speaking of this website, I can't wait to get back to blogging again. The events this Summer will be a lot of fun. :) Seriously.. I'm ready to have events on the game again. I hope we can have a few contests too! I promise I'll have more Wizard101 posts soon, including a little information about a new Wizard101 event that I'm planning on hosting! I'll let you know more soon. Pirate101: Valencia 2 News & Ending of Arc One

Ahoy Pirates!

I hope you're having a great Tuesday! I usually don't take time off from studying during Finals week, but I decided to take a little time off to make this post. Leah Ruben, our Wizard101 & Pirate101 Producer, announced that Valencia Part 2 would contain two chapters, five levels, contain a lot of answers to many questions we have about the Armada, and it will be the ending of Arc One.

Many are already worried that this will be the ending of Pirate101 since Arc One of Wizard101 ended at level 100 and Pirate101 was expected to last a few more books before the ending of this arc. I don't believe this is the end of Pirate101 for one simple reason. MORE QUESTIONS. If we were told all questions would be answered that would be the time I would start worrying. The quote below from Leah Ruben gives me hope that we will have an Arc 2 in Pirate101. Keep in mind that not everything in Pirate101 has to be related to what Wizard101 to continue.

"We’ll have more details as things progress, but have ever you wondered who built the Armada? Or the REAL scope of Kane’s plans? There will be answers, lots of answers, and of course, more questions too in the thrilling conclusion to the first story arc" (Leah Ruben).

One thing that I was thinking is that this world will take a little bit longer with more quests. If a lot of questions are going to be answered, and maybe the experience of each quest in Valencia Part 2 is a lot lower than previous worlds? I'm ready to find out this information! This is NOT El Dorado. We have not completed the map to El Dorado. So don't worry so much. I'm pretty sure we'll have more worlds to quest through before we reach El Dorado.
