Wizard101: Farming For New Gear & Jewels

Hello Wizards!

It's Saturday! That means it's your first weekend of the semester if you started classes. I hope you all are doing well - and I wish you lots of good luck this semester. I don't start my classes until the 17th, so I have plenty of time to quest, farm and make new blog posts! Autumn and I had an event week on Wizard101. We've quested and farmed nearly all week. Yesterday we decided to continue farming for some new gear and universal resist jewels from certain bosses in the Spiral.

We started farming at the Waterworks in Crab Alley. Autumn read on the Wizard101 Central WIKI that the  Polished Defense Jewel that gives +22 universal resist was dropped from Luska Charmbeak and Sylester Glowstorm. I know many of you have already went through the waterworks, but at level 120, this dungeon was soooo easy to get through! :P I know I've made many posts in the past about this dungeon, but I thought I'd share a few screenshots that I took  while running through this dungeon. :D

As I said above, the Waterworks really didn't take long. I was able to take a few nice screenshots. I can't believe I was able to take such nice screenshots on this laggy laptop. I'm getting my other laptop fixed until I'm able to buy a new Desktop later next month. I hope the screenshots look even better when I'm back again - especially this Summer. Anyways, let's talk about the second area we went to farm..

After the Waterworks, we decided to run through the Mount Olympus dungeon in Aquila to farm Gladiator Dimachaerus for the same jewel and the Alpha and Omega Ring. I know many wizards already have that ring, but keep in mind that we're both not on the game as much anymore. I can't believe I said that after nearly 20 hours of questing and farming this week alone! We didn't have to quest through the entire Mount Olympus dungeon, which was great. I actually thought we had to do that over and over.. Speaking of bosses like this, I hope Kingsisle releases an update that gives us a chance to fight bosses alone (from this boss to Malistaire - you know that would be pretty awesome.)

This boss was easier to defeat than the last time we fought him (at level 80 or 90.) The only things that drove us crazy were the ice skeletal pirates! You probably would think that the only spells that these skeletal pirates have are Frost Giants. Get those Stun Block treasure cards and defeat the minions. Don't forget to bring in a cleanse for the -75% damage spell that the boss will hit and then cast on you. We actually defeated the minions and then cast a couple of large hits on the boss. We ended up farming him a few times. Autumn got two or three new pets on both of her wizards. I got a lot of wands. We will continue farming this boss through next week. I'll let you know if we get anything.. By the way, keep an eye out for a Mirage Review! Until then, I'll see you around the Spiral. Thank you all so much for reading. Have a safe weekend.

I'll continue to keep the victims and families at the Fort Lauderdale Airport in my prayers. Do continue to keep everybody in your thoughts and or prayers! Also, pray for acceptance, love, and peace.

Wizard101: Darkmoor Adventure!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having an amazing first week of 2017. This week I've been on Wizard101 with Autumn Dreamwalker for about 20 hours questing and running through dungeons, like Darkmoor. We've made it far in questing, but we've decided to start farming for our Darkmoor gear now that we have new spells that could help. :D

We started our Darkmoor Run by running through the first dungeon, Castle Darkmoor, on Tuesday after questing (I promise I'll update you all on that later), and that dungeon took us just over an hour. Last time we went through this first dungeon, it took us two, possibly three hours to complete it at level 100. It sounds shocking, but this was before each dungeon's difficulty was reduced (Thank You, KI). I'm glad it was reduced because this helped us a lot not only in this dungeon but also the other two. The only boss that was a little crazy (meaning a lot), was Sir Blackwater. I mean who can blame us for all of his Khrulurljasdfu and Glowbug hits? :P Plus his healing... AH! Well, I'm happy to say that we were able to finish this last dungeon. :D Autumn does an amazing job healing our wizards, so there was no worry at all.

The Upper Halls seemed easier than the first dungeon (which you wouldn't think since there are three tough bosses in this dungeon). Akhtang Wormcrawl and the Spirit of Darkmoor were both defeated one one large hit. They both cheated and if we didn't do one large hit, there would be consequences, I think, so why not defeat them all at once? :D

The last time we ran through the Upper Hauls, we had a lot of trouble defeating Shane von Shane because were not prepared. It took us over an hour to defeat him this last time. This time we were and we meant business. It took less than 15 minutes to defeat him! :P We hit a few times and then hit one large hit which automatically defeated him. I mean, that was a lot of fun! I was able to get my fire spell, Fire From Above, that I wasn't able to get on this wizard.

The Graveyard was actually less difficult than I thought it would be. I really didn't take any screenshots of the first two bosses (Yevgney Nightcreeper and Shane von Shane the Transformer) because we defeated them in no time. Thanks to the guide on Duelist101, we were able to figure out what we were supposed to do. We went in unprepared but were still able to defeat these two bosses. Now... the last boss, Malistaire, that's where I've decided to extend this section of the post with additional screenshots since it was an epic fight. :D

The first fight with Malistaire and his minions were pretty easy. We decided to attack and defeat the minions first (we used spells that would attack all including Malistaire). The first battle was pretty easy since Malistaire didn't have as much health. We had to be careful every five rounds so we could keep our blades, though. I still think this first fight was fun.

The second fight with Shadow, Undead Malistaire was pretty epic. He was a lot tougher than he was in the first fight and cheated a lot more. I'm just glad we didn't have to deal with his minions. I'm pretty sure most of you already know this so I will spare you the details! :P This might have been the part of the day I was able to take my best screenshots. I've been behind on my screenshot game lately, but I will return! :P

That last screenshot was taken when the Dragon attacked. I had to flee one time because Malistaire knew we were going to defeat him. He didn't like that at first. After the battle, Malistaire decided to give up trying to hurt us and everyone and then went to Heaven with Sylvia Drake! I think he found his happiness by realizing what he had in front of him all the time he was trying to defeat us. At his strongest, he was defeated and finally realized that he had Sylvia all of the time. We are lucky to have such talented Wizard101 storyline writers (that definetly watch Once Upon a Time - but I'll talk about that at a later date)!

What a lovely way to end a story! I'm glad Kingsisle took this path with Malistaire. He got his happiness! I hope one day Morganthe and Old Cobb are able to get their happiness too. I mean, I'm pretty sure Morganthe will again turn up somewhere in the Spiral (whether it be Wizard101 or Pirate101). As wizards who help everyone, we need to help her get her happiness! I promise this isn't Once Upon a Time. :P

Anyways, both of us finished the battle and got a few special goodies. Autumn got her level 100 robe on your life wizard, and I got my amulet! We're going to continue working to get our gear by farming this dungeon now that we know what to do. We really didn't have as much issue as we thought we would. The best part of this dungeon was definitely seeing Malistaire and Sylvia finally find their happiness and music, perfect choice! I never got to comment on that on my blog, so I thought I would now even though the dungeon has been around for awhile. Well, I should take my leave. Thank you all for reading. Until next time, I'll see you around the Spiral!

Wizard101: 2017 Goals!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you had an amazing New Years Eve! I was able to watch Pitbull's New Year's Revolution on Fox for the Countdown. 90s Music was the thing on this special, so you know I had to listen! I love 1990's and 2000's music! Anyways, I had a great New Years Eve. By the way, this is my first post of the year. I've decided to make a post about all of the goals I have planned for this year. Keep reading for a list major goals that I have planned for my website this year:

2017 Website Goals

  • New Website Layout/Code: One major plan I have this year is to create new features on this website for everyone to enjoy. I have a new layout planned, but it will take a lot of work since it'll be the largest website update in this website's history. I'm not going to tell you much about what I have planned because I want you to see on your own. I'm planning on starting this weekend. I don't think I can add everything all at once as originally planned, but I will add things through the end of Winter, Spring, and everything should be finished by June! By the way, my website's 7th Birthday is on May 10th! :D I have to have most of it finished by then.
  • More Questing Posts: One major goal this year is to quest on Wizard101 a lot more than I have. With that, I'd love to make more questing posts. I really want to make team questing posts and solo questing posts. We'll see how the solo goes in a few months. I don't know if I'll be able to, but I hope Kingsisle plans to make the Dungeons/Bosses a little easier to fight for wizards that solo. We shall see!
  • Improved Events: I will continue having events this year! I already have a few planned for you all. My goal this year is to make each event better than last year's events. I already have a plan for my next major event, The Easter Bunny Run, which I think all of you will love. I can't wait to share that with you. Events this year will be a lot of fun! I hope you all will be able to attend one of the events this year. :D
  • Helping Wizards: In the past, I have shared websites and youtube channels with readers of this website. I want to start doing that again this year. I've had bad experiences and some good experiences. I'm going to be searching for websites and channels that do a lot for everyone to share on this website. I hope you all plan to check these websites and channels out when I share them with you. We'll see when I start doing that. I might look for one each week to share with you all!

The Community is a great place. My last final goal this year is to bring everyone together. Last year was a little crazy, but I think this year will be a great year for everyone. I don't have to do any of this, but I want to. I love this community and Wizard101. I hope you all stick around for a great year! Thank you so much for reading this website, and here's to another (insert amount of years Kingsisle is here). Thank you! Until next time, I'll see you around the Spiral. And if you would like to see all of the events that we've had this year, scroll through the pictures below. :D
