Rename Our Stream Contest

Hi there!

We've recently announced that we're planning on renaming the Twitch Channel that we stream events, group questing, and more on. We need the community's help deciding a new name for our Twitch Channel. This channel is about the community and should be named by the community. :) Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing what you have to come up with! Read the graphic below for more information about this contest:

Halloween Run 2018: Recap

Hello Wizards!

I would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting our events whether you were able to attend or promoted it with us. It takes a lot of work to put these events together. I believe this year's Halloween Run took 36-48 actual hours to prepare for - right down to the single detail. So thank you all so much for supporting not only this event but all of our events. Anyway, let's talk about what we did for our 3rd Annual Halloween Run!

WhiteTiger93 made a recap video, so feel free to watch the Run itself above for the Run and the Afterparty houses. :) Thank you again WhiteTiger for recording these recap videos. It's always nice to have you at the event and I look forward to watching all of the videos you have planned through the end of the year. I hope all of you will join me in doing that. Here's more of what we did for this year's event:

Waiting For The Run

A few awesome people logged into the game early to chat about the event. It was difficult to keep so many secrets. We met up in the Haunted Cave near Nightshade's Tower. We planned so much in terms of giveaways, activities, and more! I had to keep so much a secret for months! We planned a lot of the Halloween Run stuff shortly after July's Holiday Mashup. I always look forward to the Halloween Run because we usually try new things out to make the events a lot more special. This year, we got to do just that with a new activity!

The Halloween Run Activities

We started out with farming, had an epic hide & seek contest, a skeletal pirate raid, & trick or treating! Each activity was so much fun to do with the community, especially the hide & seek and trick or treating. The Trick or Treating was a new activity we had planned months ago. For this activity, we asked Kingsisle for codes to giveaway to everyone who participated in this year's Halloween Run! This was our very first "Everyone Wins" type of event. So this was a very nice thank you to all of you for supporting our events. The activities were so much fun and we hope all of you enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed them.

Our 3rd Annual Halloween Run
Kingsisle gave us a 1-Day old Bone Dragon Mount code to giveaway to everyone who was able to participate in this year's Halloween Run. This awesome mount (as seen above) was the main theme of this year's Halloween Run. It was nice to see all of these old mounts fly throughout Wizard City. This was definitely a memorable moment and I took plenty of screenshots of this portion of the event. This was seriously one of the smoothest run events we've ever had! I didn't even get caught. If someone did get caught, I asked them to yell "KHANNNNNNN!!!!" instead of "NO!". Why? Well because we're random like that! Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy this mount for this year's Halloween Run.

The Aferparties

Shortly after we were done with the Run event, we had everyone meet up in the Commons for the afterparties. Each host had their own unique afterparty activity. Sarah Skystrider hosted a maze event, Gabby hosted a dance-off, and Autumn had a new contest (Pumpkin Tic-tac-toe). There were contests at each house as well. I'd like to thank our awesome port wizards for helping get everyone to the afterparties. I'd also like to thank the hosts for their hard work making the afterparties a lot of fun for everyone! We hope you had fun at the afterparties!

A Major Thank You + Future Events

I want to thank all of you again for making this event the most memorable & fun event that we've ever hosted. We're thankful for each and every one of you and we'll continue working hard to make these events the most fun that they can for all of you. Your support for these events inspires us to do more and we will continue doing more to improve the events as we progress. Thank you to all of our awesome moderators, port wizards, and hosts for all of their hard work as well. Without them, there's no way the events would be as fun as they are. Thank you for making each event amazing. One last thank you I'd like to send out is to our awesome community manager, Mathew. Thank you for helping make this event so memorable! We appreciate your support & you also inspire us to continue having these events. We look forward to hosting many new events over the years. Speaking of events, we hope to see you at our upcoming Holiday events: The Turkey Run & Santa Run! Let's make the end of this year amazing. :D

Kingsisle Live Celebrates Pirate101's 6th Birthday + Empyrea Part 2

Hi there!

Kingsisle has recently had another amazing episode of Kingsisle Live. This month they celebrated both Pirate101's 6th Birthday and the Test Realm release of Empyrea Part 2 (which I still haven't made a blog post about - but I promise that'll come after the Halloween Run). It was a funny episode and some magic had to be used to help fix the mic. Overall, it was a great episode! Feel free to check it out by watching the video below. Thank you, Kingsisle! :)

Wizard101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 7)

Hello Wizards!

I apologize for the late blog post about our recent week of Wizard101 Group Questing. I've been busy preparing for Sunday's Halloween Run. I seriously think everyone will have so much fun at this event. I am excited to show everyone what we've planned over the past few months. For now, let's talk about our questing adventures!

The last time we quested, we ended up on the quest "Gladiator Games". This quest required us to compete by defeating various enemies and bosses in the Grand Arena. Before we did anything, we made sure to buy our theme of the week, the Fire Elemental transformation, from the Crowns Shop for 500 Gold. We made it through this area rather quickly! This area also gave a lot of experience points which in return made a lot of us level up - which is always nice. You'd think we would do a great job in this area because fire melts ice, but it's really because we have such an amazing group of friends. :)

The Grand Arena is the last area in the Entrance Hall other than the Emperor's Retreat & Vault of Ice Dungeons. We made quest through each of these dungeons - and to my surprise, I didn't take as many screenshots as I thought I did. I was having a lot of fun defeating the enemies with our group of friends that I forgot. I was thinking we would end here, but you'll be shocked that I was wrong. We weren't done yet because we made our way to the final main area in Krokotopia, the Tomb of Storms! I'll say now that we made our way through each area in the Tomb of Storms completing most of the main quest requirements. We decided to stop questing before the final dungeon of Krokotopia. :D

Quest: "Temple Dweller"
(The Final Dungeon of Krokotopia)

Your Task: Complete ALL Main Quests in Krokotopia Up To Temple Dweller

Optional: Complete ALL Side Quests in Krokotopia for additional experience.

Our Next Questing Stream
Tuesday, October 30th
6:00 pm Central / 7:00 pm Eastern

I'd like to add that everyone is welcome to these streams no matter their level! If you would like to help us feel free to join us on either game anytime we stream. Everyone is welcome to our streams. Thank you all again for your support. By the way, we'll be streaming again on Sunday at 12:00 pm Central for our 3rd Annual Halloween Run. We hope you're able to join us. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral.

Pirate101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 6)

Ahoy Pirates!

This week has been such a busy week! We didn't stream Pirate101 as long this week since we had a bit of Halloween Run stuff to complete, but that didn't stop us from making a lot of progress. I'll just say it now... we completed the main quests in Skull Island! Keep reading this post to see where we ended up and when we'll be questing again.

We started this week with the quest "Rumble in the Jungle". We had to rescue Criado from being roasted (not that way - the bonfire way). We had to first put out the bonfires and then attack the main boss. Keep note that he will heal himself by sacrificing his minions, so make sure to follow the rules by putting out the bonfires! The group I was in defeated the minions while also putting out the bonfires so the boss wouldn't have a way to heal himself. After we defeated this boss, we later had to defeat more Troggies outside and collect flowers. There's an area - near the entrance of the Dark Jungle - where you can collect the flowers without getting caught. It was no fun getting caught, but I would like to thank Victoria for showing us a great area where the troggies wouldn't pull us in!

The Dark Jungle was a pretty simple area to get through - as there weren't many main quest requirements, but there were quite a few side quests. Feel free to do any side quests that we don't do during our streams during the time we're not streaming Pirate101 Group Questing! Anyway, after the Dark Jungle, we made our way to the Ancient Ruins and eventually to the Plundered Tunnels to fight Armada Soldiers & Captain Optimus Caerulus. After all of this, we traveled back to the Ancient Ruins to fight Gortez! This wasn't as bad as a battle as I thought it would be since we have an amazing group. We actually finished the quest around the same time. After the Gortez defeat, we made our way to Puerto Mico, defeated a few ships for our passage to Monquista and finally made it to Monquista! You wouldn't think we would complete so much in an hour, but we did. So let's talk about what quest we ended up on in Monquista!

Quest: Hear No Evil, See No Evil
(after talking to the King & Queen in Monquista)

Your Task: Complete Main Quest Up To Hear No Evil, See No Evil

Optional: Complete all Side Quests in Skull Island for extra experience

Next Pirate101 Questing Stream

I'd like to add that everyone is welcome to these streams no matter their level! If you would like to help us feel free to join us on either game anytime we stream. Everyone is welcome to our streams. Thank you all again for your support. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral.

Edward Lifegem Side Quests!

Hello Wizards!

Edward Lifegem is back! Well, I've technically never left, but today I wanted to make a post about my life wizard. I haven't been questing my life wizard for quite some time now and I thought it was about time that I make a post about him. After all, this blog is based around him. Today I thought I'd give you an update on my life wizard and what I've been doing lately!

As I've mentioned above, my life wizard has been behind on quests for a while (meaning at least a year). I don't like leaving my main wizards behind and after seeing how amazing Empyrea Part 2 looks, I've been inspired to start questing all of my wizards again - starting with Edward Lifegem. Mr. Lifegem has been level 112 for a year now and my goal yesterday was to level him up to 113. I wasn't too far from leveling, but to level, I had to complete some of the side quests that I've been behind on. I decided to travel to Khrsaylis to complete a few of the many side quests that I had to complete.

I am over the level I need to be to live in this world, but that wasn't stopping me from worrying! I was mostly worried I wouldn't be strong enough. Life wizards are great healers, but not so much of an attacker. I'm happy that I was wrong about not being strong enough. I was able to heal and attack. Most of the time, my life wizard would end with full health even after a boss fight. This was surprising to me and really inspires me to side quest more. I wasn't much into side questing until we started the new wizard group questing that we do on Tuesdays. It's nice to see that my life wizard is still able to solo these side quest fights on his own.

I was eventually able to level up to 113! I hope to continue side questing to see if I can level up again. If you look in my wizards quest log, you'll see at least 20 different pages of side quests. Keep in mind that I don't always pick up side quests. It's time to put a dent on these side quests. Anyway, I should get going. I have some Halloween Run stuff to work on. Wish me luck! By the way, I will make another side questing update post if I am able to level up another level. I wouldn't be shocked if I do level up again from side quests. Thank you all so much for reading! Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral. :)

Pirate101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 5)

Ahoy Pirates!

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! This is our Pirate101 Questing Week 4 Recap post. Week 5 was a bit shorter than previous weeks due to technical difficulties, but it was still a lot of fun questing with all of the amazing pirates in our group. Let's talk about where we ended up for week 5 of new pirate questing!

Last week we ended up on the quest "Gunn's Gold" where we had to fight water moles in Waponi Wu (near the Volcano). Shortly after defeating the water moles, we made our way up to the sigil leading into the volcano where we had to find Ratbeard and Gunn's Gold. We first had to fight some beautiful goldfish, then some more water moles, and eventually we had to fight Chumba Wumba (leader of the water moles). Our task for this final fight was to get Chumba Wumba's health low and then destroy his totems. We all eventually made it through this awesome dungeon. :D

We got Ratbeard as a new companion - for saving him from falling into a volcano. We made our way back to Avery's Court to get a new quest to Puerto Mico. Puerto Mico is one of my favorite areas mostly because it gives the Monquista vibe which is my favorite world in the game. I mean, have you heard the music of Monquista? It's amazing! After Puerto Mico, we were sent to The Gold Mine to complete quests there. We started a few quests there but didn't end up doing too much. We ended up in the Dark Jungle (an area in The Gold Mine). So let's talk about what quest we ended on and the next time we'll be streaming our Pirate101 adventures!

Quest: "Rumble In The Jungle"
Your Task: Complete Main Quests up to Rumble In The Jungle
Your Choice: Complete all Accessible Side Quests

We're Nearing The Halloween Run: Your Checklist

Hello Wizards!

I can't believe how fast October has flown by. We're already on the 16th Day of October. How is time flying by so fast? Either way, it's nice to know that one of my favorite Holidays, Halloween, is quickly approaching. Our 3rd Annual Halloween Run event is also quickly approaching!

Many of you already know that we've been talking about our Halloween Run event since the end of July. We've shockingly spent a lot more time preparing for this event than any other event. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun preparing for the Halloween Run because we get to test out new ideas. I think those who are able to attend the entirety of the event will LOVE this year's activities. Nothing is perfect, but I think the Halloween Run will be a lot more fun than July's Holiday Mashup. Since the event is quickly approaching, let's talk about what you should do before this year's event!

Read The Official Post
This year's Halloween Run will be full of fun activities (we didn't even go into detail about what we'll be doing - so don't miss out on those activities). This year's event will be different than any other event that we've had. Please read the official post for this year's event by clicking on the link below. It's important that you know what we'll be doing before attending the event. The official post also has an epic raffle! Click on the link below to access this event post and raffle:

Watch The Halloween Run Guide
The Halloween Run Guide is a video that shows you where everyone will be running during the main event (which begins at 3:00 pm Central on Sunday, October 28th after the activities). The Run is not a race. We're simply running around wizard city with an awesome crowd of friends! If you've never been to one of these events, I still think you'll enjoy participating in this event. Remember to watch the guide below before the event begins.

Watch The Official Stream
Last, but certainly not least, is for you to watch our Official Stream. We'll be streaming the entire event on Twitch. You don't need a Twitch Account to watch our stream. Streaming our events help provide everyone with important information such as when we'll be starting an activity or other surprises. Our Twitch Stream begins at 12:00 pm Central on Sunday, October 28th. We'll be streaming the entirety of the event. If you're late, that's okay. You can still view the Official Stream on Twitch by visiting the link below.

We have so many awesome surprises for the community during this year's Halloween Run. We hope you're able to join us. If you do, remember to keep it family-friendly and do not beg for gifts. Our main goal is to bring the community together for a fun event. This is why this is a free and open event for all of the community! We hope you have fun at our 3rd Annual Halloween Run.

Wizard101: Great Detective Bundle

Kingsisle has officially announced the Great Detective Bundle that can be bought at GameStop for $29! This is an epic new bundle that comes with an amazing Hot Air Balloon - Housing Item Ride, Gyrocycle Mount, Baskerville Hound Pet, Sherlock's Outfit, Sherlock's Eyeglass, and a 1 Month Membership to Wizard101 or 5,000 Crowns! Level 130 Gear & Weapons have been added to this new epic bundle.

I've tested out a few things in this new bundle - such as the Hot Air Balloon Ride. You can get up to 3 friends in this new Housing Item Ride. It takes you up far enough to take some epic screenshots! Another one of my favorite things about this new bundle is the Gyrocycle Mount. I've already redeemed this mount for my new myth wizard! He's needed a new mount and this mount was perfect for him. This bundle is a bargain for its price. Thank you, Kingsisle, for creating another awesome bundle. :D

Wizard101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 6)

Ahoy Wizards (had to switch it up)!

I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday. This post is a Group Questing Recap Post! As many of you already know, Autumn & I have a questing stream every Tuesday at 6:00 pm Central with amazing friends in-game! We've already quested through Wizard City and parts of Krokotopia. Let's talk about where we ended up for our sixth week of group questing!

Last week we ended on the quest "Fangdango" that required us to talk to Alharaz, the Balance Instructor in Krokosphinx. Shortly after, we made our way to the Entrance Hall and began quested through the Hall of Champions! Here we had to fight various bosses and mobs. There was a tough collect quest (where we had to collect Ice Shards from Glacial Avengers. This quest took quite some time to complete, but we all eventually completed it. :)

We started the Grand Arena by fighting Spiders. We didn't get far into this area because we didn't want to get too far ahead for everyone who was unable to join us. I am already looking forward to next week! It's been so much fun questing with this amazing group of friends! We've also had help from higher level wizards - thank you again for your help! Anyway, I'm now going to share the quest we ended on and when you can expect our next questing stream.

Fighting Medulla For The First Time!

Hello Wizards!

Yesterday, Autumn Dreamwalker & I announced that we wanted to fight Medulla for our Sunday stream. We were expecting the worse because Medulla is the toughest boss in Wizard101. We did however have awesome friends cheering us on!

If you watch the video above, you'll see us casting spells, fleeing, and more! Thank you so much ChrisTheNecromancer for helping us in this crazy dungeon! Seriously, this was definitely the craziest fight I've been throughout of the 9 1/2 years I've been playing Wizard101. I am happy that we defeated Medulla, though. We worked together to finally defeat him after a year of waiting!

Final Thoughts: Medulla Near The Center - High Difficulty, Not Near Impossible Difficulty

Final bosses are always fun because of the level of difficulty. Although this was a very stressful fight, I still think Kingsisle did a great job. I just hope Empyrea Part 2 provides us with the appropriate spells, gear, and pet talents that will help everyone quest through future content. Speaking of Empyrea Part 2, I am glad we're finally ready! I look forward to the test realm. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral.

Happy 6th Birthday, Pirate101!

Ahoy Pirates!

Did you know that today marks Pirate101's 6th Birthday? Six years ago, today, Kingsisle officially released Pirate101 to the public! From there, we've had many great memories from NXP Events, new interesting characters, and epic boss fights. Pirate101 is definitely one of my favorite games! Thank you, Kingsisle, for an amazing game. The community looks forward to many more years *and updates* for this amazing game. :D

Pirate101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 4)

Ahoy Pirates!

Pirate101 Group Questing every Thursday has been a blast! It's nice to see new pirate friends joining us on our questing adventures each week. Our 4th week of Pirate101 questing was a lot of fun since we made it further into Skull Island! Keep reading this post to see where we ended up and when you can catch our next stream.

We ended our 3rd week of Pirate questing on the quest "The Most Dangerous Catch". This was the first quest we collected from Jonah Town. We continued this quest this week by rescuing Brody from the Vortex of Doom in Skull Island. From there, we made quite a bit of progress! We continued to quest our pirates through Jonah Town, Presidio, parts of Scrimshaw, and the Ruined Lighthouse. We got two new companions from the Presidio (the companions we choose at the beginning of the game) and Ruined Lighthouse (Old Scratch).

Last night was really the start of the fun parts of Skull Island. The fun part of the game really begins after those three long quests from the Traitor's Cave. It was nice to make progress. Accessing new areas also meant accessing new side quests! I was never really a fan of side quests in Wizard & Pirate until we started these questing streams. Now I celebrate new side quests because they really help you level up faster - to earn new attacks and more. So I think I'm going to end the post here with where we ended up and what you should do before our next stream on Thursday, October 18th.

Wizard101: Empyrea Part 2 - Sneak Peek #2

Hello Wizards!

Kingsisle released yet another amazing teaser for the upcoming Wizard101 Update, Empyrea Part 2. This teaser is concept art of creatures that will be roaming around in EP2. These are spooky so I'm guessing they'll be a shadow, death, or storm creature. I am looking forward to this new update. I believe this new update will be released to the Test Realm sometime in the next two weeks. Get ready!

Wizard101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 5)

Hello Wizards!

Our awesome group of friends has been questing ahead in the game. We just started questing through the first areas in Krokotopia. Autumn & I stream these group questing adventures every Tuesday on Twitch. It's really been a blast questing with everyone! Anyway, let's talk about what we did for our 4th week of Wizard101 questing!

We ended week 4 on the starting quest "Krokotopia". We had to talk to Sergeant Major Talbot to begin our first quest in Krokotopia. We started this quest this week! We quested through various areas: The Oasis, Altar of Kings, Royal Hall, Chamber of Fire, Palace of Fire, and the Throne Room of Fire. I was not expecting to go through these areas so fast! This group truly has amazing people. Although this is a recap post, I'd like to make this post more of a spotlight for this amazing group!

Let's just say that we're all very random! And we've all made new friends in the community. It's always nice to make new friends in the community. I have to say that questing with this awesome group is making so many great memories. I must say that this will be among my favorite memories! I look forward to continuing to quest with all of you - and all of those who will be joining us in the future. So speaking of the future, let's talk about where we ended up and what we'll be doing for our 6th week of questing!

Sunken City, Halloween Dungeons, and Winterbane!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you had an amazing weekend. I'd say Saturdays are usually my favorite days, but this past Saturday was a very boring day. Yesterday (Sunday), was a lot of fun because I got to stream with Autumn and hang out with our friends. We did quite a bit for our stream yesterday - which ended up being just about two hours in length.

We usually stream on Sundays by doing different things. Yesterday we decided to play Wizard101 and finish our final quest in Wizard City - Sunken City. Most of you may know that we quest every Tuesday with an amazing group of friends (you're welcome to join with us) and we complete side quests when we're not main questing together. It was nice to complete this side quest. This was the very first time that I've completed all of the side quests in Wizard City!

Shortly after we decided to do one of the Halloween Dungeons. We picked up the Nosferabbit quest from Dworgyn in Nightside and made our way to the Haunted Cave. We met up with other amazing friends from the community and took a picture before we entered this dungeon. To my disbelief, this dungeon gave quite a bit of experience points (enough to level my wizard up). I definitely recommend this dungeon to the wizards currently questing through Wizard City or Krokotopia. It's always nice to have extra experience since it brings you that much closer to a spell you want to earn. This dungeon provided both experience points and fun!

Jack Skullbreeze aka Jack Nightingale, invited us to go through his Winterbane Gauntlet after the Halloween dungeon. I'll be honest... This was the very first time I went through this Gauntlet. I know that many have already gone through this gauntlet because it's been around for years now. So I am happy to say we made more around the spiral history by completing this gauntlet. Overall, it was a lot of fun questing and interacting with everyone. Thank you for an amazing Sunday stream and we hope to see you all on Tuesday at our 5th week of Wizard101 Questing. We'll be starting Krokotopia. Until then, I'll leave you to watch our stream video from last night:

Wizard101 Teases Empyrea Part 2: Sky Ships

Hello Wizards!

Kingsisle released a sneak peek teaser to the community today of Empyrea Part 2. This teaser looks a lot like a Sky Ship. Sky Ships aka Pirate Ships can be found in Pirate101 sailing the skyways. Kingsisle has used ships in Wizard101 for dungeons and sometimes a mean of travel. It would be cool if our wizards could sail a ship for one of our EP2 quests... Maybe that would get more wizards to try out Pirate101. Anyway, here's a look at their new teaser!

Pirate101 Questing: Where We Ended Up (Week 3)

Ahoy Pirates!

I hope you're having an amazing week. Autumn & I have recently quest with our awesome group of friends. This was our third week of questing through Pirate101 with our new pirates. Let's talk a bit about what we did on our third week of questing!

On our second week of Pirate101 Questing, we left off on the quest "Sharks In The Water". This was the last quest from the Traitor's Cave. There were originally three different quests in this cave and we completed two of them. We were unable to complete the final quest in this area during our second week of questing, so we decided to finish it during our third week instead. The final Traitor's Cave quest was more of a collection of different quests.

After we were done with these various dungeons, we made our way to Jonah Town. We didn't complete any main quests in this area since we decided to end the stream early. We did pick up a few side quests, that we will complete on our own. Overall, it was nice questing with everyone once again. I am looking forward to the next stream! Speaking of that... let's talk about where exactly we ended up and what you will need to do before our next stream!
