Wizard101: Suri Skullshard - Wizard City

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a great weekend. My Summer Break is on its way and the closer I get to Summer Break, the more time I should be able to make new posts! Lately, I've been questing my new death wizard, Suri Skullshard. I created her on this account because I wanted a new wizard to quest this Summer, and death has become a favorite of mine in recent times. If you haven't read the post where I first created Suri, please click HERE to read that post.

When I created Suri, I already had gear I had planned to use to help her quest through the worlds. This gear helped me out a lot when defeating bosses or mobs that you have to fight over and over. Back when I first joined Wizard101, we didn't have the following items as a starting wizard: Advanced Pets, Mounts, Critical, Tough Cards, Bundle Gear, etc. To be honest, I could go on and on, but I don't want to make the post what we didn't have.

I am happy most of these things were added to help us. Questing Suri through Wizard City was a lot easier now than my first wizards. If you've played the game long enough, you may have seen me begging for crowns.. No, I'm not joking around. I actually teleported to the commons and begged for crowns - that's how addicted I was to the game. I didn't need Crowns for the Crowns shop since that didn't exist, I wanted them to access Firecat Alley, Triton Avenue, and Cyclops Lane. Luckily, I didn't need to beg this time around. Even if I couldn't access the areas, I promise, you won't catch me begging for crowns. By the way! Important: If someone promises to give you Crowns or a Membership in return for your account information, don't give them your account information! If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Always keep your account information private!

Other than account safety, I've found there was such a major difference in questing through Wizard City since my very first time in 2009. I've decided at the end of each post, I'm going to give advice if you plan on creating a new wizard anytime soon.

  • Use Advanced Pets, Bundle Gear, and buy Treasure Cards: Autumn Dreamwalker gave me treasure cards to use in battles and they do help. If you have a high level wizard with a lot of gold, you can use that gold to buy treasure cards in the crowns shop and then trade your cards with a good friend so they can trade it back with your new wizard. Treasure cards help out a lot, especially when you have advanced pets (accuracy, damage, etc) and the right gear.

Wizard City was great. I'll go more into detail of  the storyline as I quest through each world!

EverClicker Launches Worldwide! (Earn Crowns)

Hi there!

Today, Kingsisle released one of their awesome mobile games, EverClicker, on Android, iOS , and Amazon worldwide! Before I send you on your way to play EverClicker, let's talk a bit about this new game and how you can earn crowns from questing through EverClicker.

Everclicker is actually similiar to Wizard101 and Pirate101. You have to defeat monsters (by clicking or tapping) and try to save each world as a Villian named the Star Devourer that eats stars out of the sky and darkens worlds. We are heroes that are able to save these worlds by collecting stars from the Star Devourer and helping restore light to these worlds that the Star Devourer darkened. I am ready to be hero just typing out this brief description about the game!

I may have just played this game for about 40 minutes just after typing the bried description above and I will give a small unbiased review on this post.. it's awesome! I will make a post on Saturday discussing what I think is awesome about this game and more reasons why you should try it out. I really think this game has a bright future and we as Kingsisle supporters should share this game with our friends and family. I know I will, especially after playing 40 minutes and wanting to play longer.

Please read below for information on how to download EverClicker, earn your free crowns, and follow EverClicker's social media.

Happy 7th Birthday edwardlifegem.com!

Hi there!

Today is Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem's 7th Birthday. Seven years ago, today, I made my very first blog post about Wizard101. From there, I started attending community events, making new great friends, and making as many new posts as I could. I feel my messages of Online Safety, Anti-Bullying, and Acceptance has reached a lot of people here in the community.

As many of you now already know, I created this website on May 10th, 2010. That was the first few years of when the community really started growing. I was already in the community months before, but with the creation of this website I was able to interact more with the community than I ever dreamed of. At the time, I was very shy and didn't talk much with anyone. The community changed that part of me, which was a good change because I wanted to make new friends.

I have seen a lot of people come and go in the blogging community. I am glad blogging is starting to grow again as it did back in the day. My website is actually one of few still making posts even after all of these years. I don't find it bad that I'm bringing such an old theme back into the community, I really enjoy doing that. I think now I'm able to interact more than I ever have before with everyone and that's good!

Future Plans

This year is going to be a great year! I am going to make a few changes, but those changes will never change who I am. I will still be the same person I've always been. I want to interact with everyone in the community, accept everyone for who they are, and remind everyone that no matter what, I am always here for you! If any of you ever want to talk to me, just ask me to follow you or friend you and we'll talk. I'm glad you're here in the community! What does that have to do with future plans? Well..

I'm planning on hosting a lot of great events this year as I have last year. There is now a change in these events. I want to bring all of the community together as a reminder that no matter what, we're all in this together (I'm pretty sure some of you are singing HSM right now :P). We're going to make this a great year for everyone in the community, not ever a select few.

With blog posts, I am going to catch up on the game and everything that I've missed over the past few years. I've been behind on everything, but now I have a chance to catch up and if any of you have any questions, I'll be able to answer them. With catching up, that means I will also have more blog posts about what I'm up to in the game (such as which character I'm questing, something old I just found out but I wanted to share my thoughts about it, etc). I can't wait to make these new posts for you!

A Blast From The Past

I've made a blog post every May 10th since 2011. I decided to post a few links here for you to read if you would like to! You can scroll over and then click on the links below to read those posts. Thank you all for all of your support over the past 7 years. It is great to be in this community and I'll always support everyone here. I can't thank you enough for the support you've shown me! Here's to many more years of blogging.

MAY 2017: 7th Bloggerversary!

Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral!
