Wizard101: Patriotic March Event - June 24th

Hello Wizards!

Last year I had a special event to celebrate every nation where we could be thankful where we live. I live in the United States and as an American, I'm extremely proud of our country and very thankful that I get to live here. On Saturday, June 24th at 3:00 pm CST, we'll be meeting in Ravenwood in the Stormzilla to have another Patriotic March!

When?
NEXT SATURDAY at
3:00 pm CST / 4:00 pm EST

Where?
Ravenwood, Stormzilla Realm

Portbus
Edward Winterbreeze

More Information
  • Wear Flag Colors: Please go to the Wizard City Dye Shop to dye your gear to match your flag colors. I know you won't be able to dye your gear all of your flag colors and that's okay - just use the two main colors. I'll be wearing Red and Blue since I'm from the United States.
  • March Around Wizard City: We'll be marching/running around Wizard City to represent all of the players from different countries. It'll be a lot of fun! This is not for Politics, this is for fun and togetherness! :D

Pirate101: Edward Hawkins makes it to Marleybone!

Ahoy Pirates!

I apologize for not making as many posts lately as I've been extremely busy finishing up Finals. I still have a few finals, but they will be a lot easier on me than the recent one. Things are slowing down a lot which means I have time to make new blog posts! By the way... I'll also have events this Summer, so don't think wizards are the only ones who will have fun events. :D Anyway, today I'd love to talk about some Pirate101 progress I've made with Autumn with our Musketeers!

The last time I made a post about our Musketeers was when we went through a dungeon, called the Bandit Cave, in Mooshu. Since then, we quested quite a bit and I decided to make a short post today about part of our questing before we get too far ahead, which we did. I blame Kingsisle for making such an amazing game. Anyway, we collected all of the Turtle Ball required to summon the Giant Turtle.

We had to defeat all of the guardians in the Wood Temple (on top of the turtle) before we could talk to Cao Tzu and then Captain Avery to find the other piece of the map of El Dorado. We finally made it to Marleybone, one of my favorite worlds in both games. I think Pirate101's Marleybone is the best world out of both games because of it's awesome storyline.

This game has some of the best graphics and I really do love the storyline. Autumn and I had decided when I had time when I wasn't studying, to play Pirate101 as much as we could. We had a lot of fun! I am hoping to quest even more with Autumn this Summer and quest my swashbuckler, Edward Cringle, again. I am looking forward to this Summer! My plans are to have more blog posts by trying things out that I haven't before. I think I'm going to start hatching pets and possibly start PvP. I already know I'm going to have events this Summer, so you'll have to stick around for that. I am looking forward to this Summer and I hope you're ready for a lot of fun! Well, I should end this post now and type up another. I have a lot of posts to catch up on! Until next time, I'll see you around the skyways.

Wizard101: Suri Skullshard - Wizard City

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a great weekend. My Summer Break is on its way and the closer I get to Summer Break, the more time I should be able to make new posts! Lately, I've been questing my new death wizard, Suri Skullshard. I created her on this account because I wanted a new wizard to quest this Summer, and death has become a favorite of mine in recent times. If you haven't read the post where I first created Suri, please click HERE to read that post.

When I created Suri, I already had gear I had planned to use to help her quest through the worlds. This gear helped me out a lot when defeating bosses or mobs that you have to fight over and over. Back when I first joined Wizard101, we didn't have the following items as a starting wizard: Advanced Pets, Mounts, Critical, Tough Cards, Bundle Gear, etc. To be honest, I could go on and on, but I don't want to make the post what we didn't have.

I am happy most of these things were added to help us. Questing Suri through Wizard City was a lot easier now than my first wizards. If you've played the game long enough, you may have seen me begging for crowns.. No, I'm not joking around. I actually teleported to the commons and begged for crowns - that's how addicted I was to the game. I didn't need Crowns for the Crowns shop since that didn't exist, I wanted them to access Firecat Alley, Triton Avenue, and Cyclops Lane. Luckily, I didn't need to beg this time around. Even if I couldn't access the areas, I promise, you won't catch me begging for crowns. By the way! Important: If someone promises to give you Crowns or a Membership in return for your account information, don't give them your account information! If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Always keep your account information private!

Other than account safety, I've found there was such a major difference in questing through Wizard City since my very first time in 2009. I've decided at the end of each post, I'm going to give advice if you plan on creating a new wizard anytime soon.

  • Use Advanced Pets, Bundle Gear, and buy Treasure Cards: Autumn Dreamwalker gave me treasure cards to use in battles and they do help. If you have a high level wizard with a lot of gold, you can use that gold to buy treasure cards in the crowns shop and then trade your cards with a good friend so they can trade it back with your new wizard. Treasure cards help out a lot, especially when you have advanced pets (accuracy, damage, etc) and the right gear.

Wizard City was great. I'll go more into detail of  the storyline as I quest through each world!
