Happy 5th Birthday, Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem!

Hi there!

I'm sure by now you know that I created this blog five years ago... I'm shocked I'm still blogging because there have been many times I thought I would stop blogging and it just doesn't last. Last December I decided to take a break from blogging because I didn't think I'd make it through classes if I had to make blog posts every day and I wasn't keeping up on anything. A few months after my long break that was supposed to last at least a year, I decided I just needed a break so I could catch up a little on both games. Okay... long story short... I'M BACK!!!!!!! I have to return and start making blog posts, having events, contests, updates, etc! Why? Well, I love Kingsisle's games and I don't want to give up on any of you. I know I said I was going to be gone for awhile and six months, well... considering I made a blog post every week (just about everyday) for four years, that's a very long time to me!

I told everyone the beginning of this year I had a special announcement and my return was one of them.. Another one is that I plan on creating a new website or at least adding new code to this site where it doesn't look like any of the updates I've had on this website! I have other amazing plans down the road, but you'll just have to wait and see what they are. :D I plan on building my website on the sidelines of making new blog posts for each game. I promise, I'm not going to change who I am or anything, I'll always remain that silly, crazy, sometimes weird Edward Lifegem you know! :D I'm going to start making  new blog posts again next week, after my finals! I might not have as many blog posts at first since I plan on building that new website, but I promise each post will be a fun post or maybe an event. This Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall (okay the Seasons will go on and on), will be a lot of fun! Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem's 5th Birthday is going to be a special refresh of this site and I hope you all stick around and see how it plays out. I want you to know that this blog wouldn't be here without you and I appreciate each and everyone of you for your support!

Steps To Keep Your Wizard101/Pirate101 Account

Hi there,

So there's been a lot of talk around the community about bannings due to bad language, cheats and whatever else is against Wizard101 & Pirate101's terms of use. I think it's silly that there are people who blame Kingsisle for being banned for doing something against Kingsisle's terms of use. I joined the game about six years ago and I remember reading the terms of use and I knew not to go against it if I wanted to keep my wizard (and now pirate). I'm a blogger and I love making posts about Kingsisle's amazing games! There are many steps you can take to keep your account.. I decided I'm going to share them with you today so you know that if you blame Kingsisle for your account banning or muting, it's not really their fault.. Here's the few steps you should follow if you want to keep your account.

1. Read Kingsisle's Terms of Use: One way as I mentioned above, is to look at Kingsisle's Terms of Use. This step is important and when you created your Wizard or Pirate, you should have noticed it. 
2. Follow The Rules: There are many rules on Wizard101 and Pirate101. A few that have been broken by players are: Profanity and Bullying. These rules are not new, it's a new year but the rules have been in place since you created your account. I'm sure by now, you've had friends banned because they broke the rules numerous times. Don't get upset at Kingsisle if you're banned because of this reason. You should know by now that you shouldn't break Kingsisle's Rules. I want everyone reading to stay, I'm just trying to warn you.
3. Remember: Please don't forget the rules when you start playing. We all know Wizard101 and Pirate101 are fun (best games ever)! Remember the rules so your account isn't banned. I'm not trying to be rude to anyone, I just want you to know that I know to keep my account safe by following the rules. I don't want my account banned. I'm not perfect. I'm human, just like you. It's hard to remember sometimes, so keep this in mind. Do I want to keep my account? I'm sure if you're reading this post, the answer is YES!! 

The steps listed above are easy steps to follow if you want to keep your account. You also have to stay safe on the game, so don't forget Online Safety! Thank you for reading this blog post. How Long Is Too Long?

Ahoy Pirates!

Before you get excited, you need to know that I'm not returning just yet! I want to make a blog post today about something that many of you pirates have been talking about. It's been nearly two years since Pirate101 has had a new world update. I've leveled my witchdoctor, Edward, to level 65, leveled all of my companions to level 65 and even went to many NXP events to raise my nautical level to level 65 in hopes that I'd be prepared for the next world. My witchdoctor is ready for the next world but it doesn't seem Pirate101 is ready for the next world..

Pirate101 released two new worlds to the test realm in Spring 2013, which was nearly two years ago! I know it seems like it's been awhile, but the two worlds were made to make sure we had plenty to before the next world. I believe Wizard101 doesn't even compare to Pirate101 in terms of graphics, storyline and voiceovers. I think that it takes a lot more to make Pirate101, especially since Pirate101 has so many more details to the game. Pirate101 does have to make new worlds: spells, ships, companions, skyways, storylines, hiring voice actors, sounds, music and so many more things that they have to do. There are more details in Pirate101 than Wizard101. Wizard101 is a world that many of us came from and we're used to the release of many worlds at a certain time. Marleybone and Aquila are two worlds that I love and when I leveled through them, I knew they spent a lot of time on them!

I believe Pirate101 is an amazing game and they have something very special planned for us, but we need to give them time to make it for us. They can't make it in seven days because they are only human, but it's amazing that anyone could make something like this game at all! I've been a fan of Pirate101 since their first teaser in April 2012! If it takes too long for you, play Wizard101. They have a lot of worlds releasing (maybe too much at one time), but I know I'm catching up on Wizard101 while Pirate101 is working on the game. I'm going to play it again when they release their new world or worlds. I think all of the small Pirate101 updates are good, and will help us. I want a new world, but I'm going to wait for it. Take your time, Kingsisle! I'm always a fan of your games and can't wait to see what you have planned for us! :D To answer my question above.. I don't think it's been too long, the only way it would be too long is if they wasn't KI!
