It's Thursday! You're not far from Summer Break or the weekend if you're still in school. I've actually been on Summer Break for over a month now and my past two weeks have been spent questing and farming in Wizard101. I've had level 58 gear for awhile, but recently I've been able to farm Rasputin (last boss in Polaris) with Autumn Dreamwalker. :D
Let me first start off by saying that Polaris was an amazing world. My fire and Autumn's life and balance wizards were able to make it to level cap (110) and fight Rasputin. I'm not going to pretend that everything went well the first time around. :P We went through the dungeon before this last dungeon and not one of the bosses cheated! We were pretty happy about that, but I would have loved to know which bosses cheated or didn't cheat before we join battle (Please add that feature, Kingsisle). Once we got to Rasputin, we knew the fight would be tough but not so tough that the minions would cast a Bolt that would do a lot of damage and eventually defeat us. :P We read the guide wrong the first time around! I guess I can say that everyone makes mistakes, and that's okay as long as we learn from our mistakes. :)
We did learn from our mistakes and decided to make up a plan because we didn't want to give up. Our plan involved Autumn using sandstorm on the minions the first round after we would blade and trap my fire wizard (since Rasputin would summon these minions and every round they would transform until they spammed bolt on us and themselves). The blades and traps placed on Rasputin would eventually help defeat him once and for all. Well.. I guess I shouldn't say once and for all because we went through again to get more awesome gear. We were able to collect our Level 110 Deck, Amulet, Boots, and Wands! I guess the purpose of this post is to never give up. You might not get it right the first time, but that doesn't mean you never will if you don't keep trying! Thank you all for reading. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral. :D
