Wizard101: 2017 Goals!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you had an amazing New Years Eve! I was able to watch Pitbull's New Year's Revolution on Fox for the Countdown. 90s Music was the thing on this special, so you know I had to listen! I love 1990's and 2000's music! Anyways, I had a great New Years Eve. By the way, this is my first post of the year. I've decided to make a post about all of the goals I have planned for this year. Keep reading for a list major goals that I have planned for my website this year:

2017 Website Goals

  • New Website Layout/Code: One major plan I have this year is to create new features on this website for everyone to enjoy. I have a new layout planned, but it will take a lot of work since it'll be the largest website update in this website's history. I'm not going to tell you much about what I have planned because I want you to see on your own. I'm planning on starting this weekend. I don't think I can add everything all at once as originally planned, but I will add things through the end of Winter, Spring, and everything should be finished by June! By the way, my website's 7th Birthday is on May 10th! :D I have to have most of it finished by then.
  • More Questing Posts: One major goal this year is to quest on Wizard101 a lot more than I have. With that, I'd love to make more questing posts. I really want to make team questing posts and solo questing posts. We'll see how the solo goes in a few months. I don't know if I'll be able to, but I hope Kingsisle plans to make the Dungeons/Bosses a little easier to fight for wizards that solo. We shall see!
  • Improved Events: I will continue having events this year! I already have a few planned for you all. My goal this year is to make each event better than last year's events. I already have a plan for my next major event, The Easter Bunny Run, which I think all of you will love. I can't wait to share that with you. Events this year will be a lot of fun! I hope you all will be able to attend one of the events this year. :D
  • Helping Wizards: In the past, I have shared websites and youtube channels with readers of this website. I want to start doing that again this year. I've had bad experiences and some good experiences. I'm going to be searching for websites and channels that do a lot for everyone to share on this website. I hope you all plan to check these websites and channels out when I share them with you. We'll see when I start doing that. I might look for one each week to share with you all!

The Community is a great place. My last final goal this year is to bring everyone together. Last year was a little crazy, but I think this year will be a great year for everyone. I don't have to do any of this, but I want to. I love this community and Wizard101. I hope you all stick around for a great year! Thank you so much for reading this website, and here's to another (insert amount of years Kingsisle is here). Thank you! Until next time, I'll see you around the Spiral. And if you would like to see all of the events that we've had this year, scroll through the pictures below. :D

Wizard101: Something Needs To Change!

Hi there,

I hope you all are having a great New Years Eve or New Year Day 2017! Today, I was thinking about 2017 and what I'd love to see Kingsisle add to the game. This is more of a post criticizing the way the game has been lately. I love all of the worlds, storylines, pets, spells and everything that has been released. One thing I don't like is that these new updates never help those who solo the game. I think with the release of Mirage, Soloing has ended because of the level of difficulty.

Most of the blog posts that I've made before the past few years have been about soloing the game. I started the game in 2009 and soloed the game from Wizard City through Dragonspyre on my ice wizard. There were a few fights that we needed help on if we didn't have the right treasure cards and sometimes you did die and would have to repeat the quest. These were great days because you could still enjoy the storyline and not have to look up and see if bosses cheated, or fight four bosses with 20,000 health each with those cheats.

I have never had the best gear in the game because I wanted to enjoy the storyline the most. Darkmoor gear is the best gear to get, but even that is tough with the help from friends. I think I made a post about this dungeon earlier this year. Gear is really difficult to get, so that means you have to find the best gear that you can get. Jewels have been a lifesaver, but there's no way they'll help you through the game.

I'm not trying to tell everyone to stop playing the game because it's difficult, but I want Kingsisle to know that I would love to make my questing posts again and have fun soloing through once again. Below is one important thing that I think Kingsisle should do to help bring players back to the game/continue playing the game. I'm sure Wizard101 has no problem getting players now, but I think once in awhile, it would be nice to solo a wizard.

  • New Levels Of Difficulty: I think you should add different levels of difficulty with bosses/dungeons. Create an Algorithm that determines how tough the boss and dungeon will be depending on how many players enter a sigil. If one player enters, it would be nice to reduce the level of difficulty. It is not fun soloing a dungeon that has nearly the same amount of difficulty as a four-wizard dungeon. PLEASE think about this. Seriously, no copyright, just a great idea you can consider. This could help wizards get their new gear and have fun soloing the game. Sometimes not everybody has two accounts or their friends on, so they just stay off the game. If their friends quit the game, they'll probably end up quitting too because of the difficulty. But if they love the game and want to continue, they could start soloing the game.

That's what I hope happens in 2017. I'd love to continue questing my many wizards again with hope that I will make it through. This is why I had 70+ posts in April 2011, because I was able to quest and talk a lot more about the game. Either way, I still love Wizard101. It's fun questing with a great team, but not alone. Thank you for reading. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral.

Wizard101: Farming Again!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. My Christmas was amazing because I got to spend it with family again and celebrate Jesus' Birthday! I'm happy now because I'm on break and I have time to quest and farm on the game again. I feel like it's been forever since that last time I was able to do these two things.

Let's talk about farming today (I promise I have quite a few questing posts to make after today). This morning I woke up to farm Longdreamer Shamans in Zamunda for a special universal resist jewel. This certain jewel gives 17 resistance to every school. Earlier this year I was fighting these same things and got this jewel just from fighting them a few times.. Today I woke up thinking that maybe I'd get lucky. I battled them 22 times and didn't get anything. I think I needed a life wizard to cast leprechaun a few times. ;P I'm still good. I will continue farming these since they're the easiest to fight. I know there are other bosses around the spiral, but it is my goal to at least get three of these before I return to school later next month. I apologize.. I promise from now on, I will not talk about that six letter word until the time comes!

These battles really didn't take me as long as you might be thinking, since the enemies only had 1,980 health each, and I could use raging bull in two rounds. If raging bull didn't show, I'd use fire dragon with a few blades (using Aegis to protect the blades one round from Earthquake). I think I'm going to farm every morning for the rest of my break to get these jewels. If they don't give them to me, I will be forced to use Sun Serpent! Too late! I already did. It's okay, it's good to always keep trying and to never give up. I promise I'll update you all when I do get this jewel. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral. :D

Don't mess with a fire wizard!
